Express Upgrade
from Integrator
Gain the power of Netlang
while leveraging familiar tools
Upgrade Process
Upgrading from Integrator to Netlang is designed to be a user-friendly and guided experience, much like running a standard installation wizard. During the upgrade, the system walks you through each required step, ensuring nothing is overlooked. You are prompted to create the necessary components, review your existing configuration, and select exactly what you want to import into your new Netlang environment. Even after deploying your environment in Netlang, you maintain full flexibility. If you prefer working in Integrator Design Studio, you can continue to make updates to your existing scripts there. When you're ready, Netlang allows you to retrieve those changes and incorporate them into your deployed environment, ensuring a smooth workflow whether you update directly in Netlang or continue using the familiar Integrator Design Studio.

Technical Details
The upgrade wizard in Netlang reads the configuration files in the integrator folders and creates all services including job settings, arguments, scheduling intervals, path configurations, certificates, and more. It also transfers your Java classes, source code, and any additional JAR files into Netlang, creating a complete, ready to run environment. When the services are executed in Netlang, an additional layer is applied on top of the platform using the modified Iptor (IBS) Framework, along with all related configuration files such as EDI definitions, DLLs, and other components. By using the Netlang framework as the foundation, you gain a fully updated set of dependencies aligned with the latest security standards and patches, as well as the modern Java 21 runtime environment. This ensures your integrations are future proof and prepared to meet new and emerging cryptographic requirements.
